The SGL A&R challenge !

In attempts of total world domination, your Superheroes of RAWK have engaged in a little game of "I dare you" with some major record companies to challenger their A&R minions to come and witness one of our live shows . The BEST and only way to PROVE an aritsts SALT is to come and see what they actually DO live and in person with no studio or inflatted myspace profile to hide behind. STRAIGHT UP challenge to PROVE to the world that SGL is one of not thee MOST ENTERTAINING And AWE-INSPIRING independent live RAWK experience ANYWHERE!

So, with this in mind we have issued a simple challenge to some prominent music labels A&R departments to come out and experience a SGL show live and in person Saturday Sept. 12th @ the Crocodile in SEattle WA to PROVE our awe-inspiring nature is worthy of MAJOR representaion. And for those of us who are paying the bills working 3 jobs to be "independent" artists allow me to remind you and perhaps educate those that do not know, the GAME is the SAME only SOME Of the faces have changed in this business. Just cause there's twittter, facebook, MySpace and you can record in your basement doesn't mean you will be "discovered". The notion of "vial" phenomena is 9 times out of 10 backed by serious marketing $$$ with the marketing guise of being "out of nowhere!"

Hence, we understand this and ONLY want a chance to play on the same playing field as these other artists who get major marketing and pomotional dollars to do their business. We want IN and we are willing to present a simple challenge to some key A&R and label peeps that we feel will give us the opportunities to perform the festivals and tours we so deservingly desire.

And the Challenge issued via email is below:

" ATTN: A&R - A Challenge for you...

We cordially challenge your A&R team to come up to Seattle Saturday Sept. 12th to witness the most awe-inspiring, mind-blowing LIVE RAWK act you have ever seen. The Superheroes of RAWK @ Super Geek League are looking for world domination and we believe the NEXT step in doing so is partnering with a label such as yours that can open the DOORS to the major touring festivals throughout the calendar year for 2010.

With this in MIND we challenge you to send your best and brightest A&R scout up for the weekend of 9-11-09 to experience Super Geek League live and in person Saturday Sept. 12th 9pm @ the Crocodile. If your A&R person is NOT convinced we are in fact one the most electrifying, dominating and most entertaining live acts they have EVER seen and a BAND (ENTER YOUR LABEL HERE) needs to sign NOW, then we will REIMBURSE your company for travel hotel and plane fare compliments of SGL.

We want your representation and we challenge you to give us a SHOT of making a REAL impression live and in person. If your not impressed and think we are full of shit, we will pay you back for making the trip.
