As part of the many promotional treats of the 2008 Strangercrombie bid, SGL's own Barry McCockner will be guest DJ Live September 7th 8pm sharp on Hollow Earth Rario http://www.hollowearthradio.com/ for an evening best descirbed by the man himself:

"As for the nature of the show, Barry McCockner, Super Geek League's centenarian pederasty late-stage-Alzheimer's priest is compiling a playlist of his favorite songs-to-annoy-by. I hope it will be virtually unlistenable. There are some choice samplings, such as feedbacky Merzbow, The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald (played backwards), badly tuned kazoo bands, sampled copy machine orchestration, as well as several SGL tracks. It's expected to be an aural assault of the kind that has been outlawed by the Geneva convention since 1953.

Barry McCockner can best be described as distilled ID, crossed with a syphilitic spider, tempered with a fifth of whisky, 7 Viagra, then poured into a priest's frock."
